If hes not telling you when hes going, once he has done it in his nappy say something like 'daniel has done a poo/wee in his nappy' then eventually he should realise what hes doing and tell you.
If he is telling you just drump straight in.

he only tells us if he had pooped in his nappy, i gave up after 3 hours as he was weeing everywhere and everytime i put him near the potty he started screaming, i dont want him to be scared of it, i will try again in a few weeks
