Lately on bath nights I have been stripping Kirsty nakee and letting her run about until the bath fills for her. Also been taking the potty out and saying to her if she needs a tinkle, she has to sit on the potty - it hasn't worked, she doesn't know she is tinkling and so it's on the flloor
It's like when we go to wash dishes, being near the water makes me & DH need a pee, and Kirsty normally does her tinkle whilst standing next to the bath as it fills. So tonight I took potty into the bathroom and asked her to sit on it and do a tinkle. She sat/stood/sat/stood about 3 times, then sat down and..... TINKLED IN THE POTTY!!!!!!!!!!!
She is no where near ready for training. It was a fluke that she peed in the potty but still, she was mega excited, ran to the top of the stairs shouting "daddy I do'd a tinkle in potty" So cute bless her lil heart!!!
hehe she's been wearing it as a hat for a few months I'm sure my wee mindee's mummy thought I was nuts having this horrible, stinky, peepee potty in my living room when she first came, but I quickly told her "we don't use it yet, it's just a toy for now"
It now lives in the bathroom, I'll be making sure I encourage tinkles in potty every bathtime now
well done Kirsty. Christian won't use the potty. When we are at home I leave him naked and he tells us when he needs a pee and he uses the toilet. Not potty training fully though cause he hasnt pooped in the toilet and if I put pants on him he will wet them
