He's STILL got a wheezy, rattly chest. He's been off the antibiotics about a week. He's struggling to sleep with it and everything.

The doctor looked him over and has put him on an inhaler to see if that makes a difference and she wants to see him again in 2 weeks.

I'll feel awful if he's got asthma, I'll feel like I've given it to him kwim?

Hopefully it's just lingering unwellness from his flu/chest infection that he had over the holidays.

He's got so many appointments coming up regarding his statutory assessment and I could really do with him getting well so any healing vibes would be appreciated!!

Wee soul, is it ventolin? I hope it helps!

Evan is on ventolin and atrovent, I initially felt guilty that he'd 'caught' my asthma but these things just happen and if Daniel does have it then it's better to get the right treatment

for you both

Aww, poor Daniel. I really hope the inhaler helps him and that he is back to full health soon. Sending lots of healing vibes.

I hope he gets better with the inhaler hun.

I totally understand what you mean feeling guilty, both me and stuart have asthma and the doctor said the chances of our kids having it is very high, and i felt guilty then as i knew their chances would be high with both parents having it! and its awful to live with, but at least it can be managed which is good X

Thanks ladies. Yes I know it can be managed but it is also a life-threatening condition, and feeling like I'd given it to him...Poor lad has enough to contend with as it is.

They do say that if they have it young they can grow out of it don't they. Just hope he's gonna be ok.
