I won't be around today as dad is having heart surgery and has been in theatre for the past 6 hrs. We are just waiting for news and im looking after mam while he is in hospital. So just letting you know that is why im quiet. Will be back probably tomorrow as i won't have a chance to come on this evening i don't think.

Hope all goes well, my dad had a synthetic valve put in a couple of years ago. Its amazing what they can do these days. xxx

Just back from the hospital and he is doing really well. It is the second time he has had this surgery done so hopefully it will work this time. They had to go in and burn some muscles in his heart, but unfortunatly for him they have to do it while he is awake because of a risk of having a stroke. But it lasted 6 and a half hours, he said the pain was terrible but he is over it now and fingers crossed it will work. He is giving out about everything so that is a sure sign he is on the mend. Thank you for the thoughts.
