As this weekend is a bank holiday i was wondering,

Does the shops get crazy around you on a bank holiday weekend?

What does traffic be like?

Do you like heading out to the seaside or countryside or anywhere special on a bank holiday?

Or do you avoid all the crowds and just stay at home?

I don't go far on a bank holiday as the M6 running through the north-west tends to get extremely busy. We will do a day out on the Sunday rather than the Monday if anything. Retail parks can get busy if they are decent ones, too.

We don't have any in October as far as I'm aware. Scotland has one at the beginning of August, the other three have it at the end (we like to be different ) Scotland also has two in the New Year compared to one everywhere else, but we only have Good Friday when the others have Easter Monday too.
It all gets very confusing when the English based banks are open when the Scottish ones are shut!!!

its the May Day Run on monday where hundreds of motor bikes head down to Hastings seafront.
Its brilliant to go and watch but if you dont go early enough the traffic is a nightmare.
Probably wont go this year as the weather is still miserable

Oh my brothers are bikers and my DH used to be, they would love to see that one. They have been over to the one that goes from the Ace Cafe down to Brighton a couple of times though. I made DH sell his bike a few years back as i didn't feel comfortable with him on it going to work late at night or early in the morning, not because of his driving but because of any drunk drivers out there, but if there is a rally on nearby we still go and have a look, i even considered buying a bike a few years back for myself before i got pregnant with Amelia.
Tomorrow we have nothing exciting planned. The boys are heading off to my parents house for the afternoon to watch Titanic with my mam, its Reese's favourite movie and my mam has never seen it so they have some goodies and are going to have a relaxing afternoon. I however will be putting some finishing touches to some decorations i made for Reese's birthday party next saturday, its also Titanic themed and ive made most of the decorations myself as they are not easy to come by.
