My hair has gone really split-endy and tangly the last few weeks (I think it's down to hormones) and I've tried various shampoos on it and none have helped.

I got some Elvive Royal Jelly stuff for dry and damaged hair hoping that would make a difference but it's been no better.

Any suggestions? I can go for more expensive stuff at the moment if anyone knows one that really does work for this.

Otherwise I think I'm doomed to tugging at my hair fiercely every morning for the next two months.

I but tubs of hair mask, herbal essences is good and Pantene, my hair is always tangly cause I get it highlighted so it's really dry! I usually use them about twice a week and run my finger through my hair while it's in and the knots come out really easily. Herbal essences do one in a red run called beautiful end and theres a cream in a pump bottle as well, they worked really well together for me. Before I found them I used to use about half a bottle of conditioner each wash!

Oh and they do keep the tangles out too! They made my hair much smoother and easier to brush compared to my usual mane.

THANK YOU! Will look out for those Herbal Essences products when I next go shopping. It sounds like it's really worked for you, so hopefully it will also work for me. I'll KUP.

My hair pre-pregnancy (including my previous pregnancy) was always, always on the greasy side, by the way, which is why I haven't a clue about the best products to use for dry and tangly.

Awww hon. I'm sure the condition of mine is connected to the amount of times I've dyed it too. Though in my case it's been browns or reds. And I haven't dyed it for a long while, since before I started TTC last summer.

Have you thought of trying one of the no tangles baby shampoos, if i run out i would use the kids Johnsons baby shampoo and i get a lovely shine on my hair from it, and i know you can get specific ones for no tangles. Johnsons are also doing a spray in conditioner for kids too that i always use on Amelia because her hair tangles terrible and it removes the tangles immediatly. Ive even used it once or twice myself when my hair is very tangled or needs an immediate lift but have no time to wash it. Big plus too, its really cheap. :-)
