Seems like this book is becoming notorious. Everyone recommended it to me at school so I bought it for holiday reading and will be starting it soon. Have you read it, or do you plan to?

I was going to download it onto my Kindle but I've heard such mixed reviews on it I wasn't sure. I'd be very interested to hear how you get on with it though.

I'll deffo come back and update. The other ladies at school say that it sucks you in and you can't put it down, whether out of shock value or because the story is compelling I'm not altogether sure. I have read mixed reviews too, a lot of people seem to say the actual writing is appalling. We'll see!

A young girl who gets into a very controlling relationship with a man who's into S&M and all sorts of kinky stuff, which is apparently rather graphically described.

Never heard of it to be honest, and i don't like serious books, i like the more light and fluffy ones or historical ones. Mark likes a good thriller though so would be interested to hear from you on whether its a good book for a man to read.
