We have been organising a school move for my boys. The old school just wasn't a good fit for us so we took the very hard decision to move them. I hope it makes a whole load of difference with them but only time will tell. We had to tell them yesterday which was one of the hardest things i had to ever do. They didn't take it too well but it seems to be sinking in slowly as time passes with them. We are dealing with a lot of different emotions in the house right now. All their stimming (calming mechanisms) are coming out in them, but i hope the worst of this will pass soon. They get to go and spend the day in the new school tomorrow to familiarise themselves with it which will be good for them because with the Aspergers they need as much info and preperation as possible and as far in advance as possible to ease the stress for them.
I don't think i have ever felt as stressed as this in my life. Im confident we are doing the right thing but scared about it at the same time. The best thing about the move is they will be in the same class, as they have some split classes there, and will be together for the next 5 years. I am happy they will be there for each other and hope it will ease some of the stress they feel in school. Ill let ye know tomorrow how their first day goes.

Im sorry i havn't been around much but things really have been hectic and we were just waiting for the Jedward concert to be over before telling them about school as we didn't want to ruin the concert, also we didn't want them to know their last day in school as i think it would be too upsetting for them. I promise ladies i will be back to normal very soon, but i know you all will understand how the boys need my time right now. I will be popping in on and off but not a lot for the next few days. xxx

Don't worry hon and please try not to stress.

I wish I could pick up the slack but I'm struggling this week myself. The board will survive and when we're both able we will get it going proper again.
