How are your kids when you are getting their hair cut, do they like it or do they freak out?

Do you take them to a salon or do it yourself?

If you take them to a salon, do they have the cute type of race car/princess themed chairs for kids, or just regular chairs?

How often do you find you need to cut their hair?

Daniel HATES it.

We make him go every school holiday, usually on the first day to get it over with. We have to bribe him with lunch out if he's a good boy, and invariably when his turn comes he cries and one of us has to hold on to him while he has it done and rub his back etc. The barber is really good with him, she has an autistic daughter and knows all about funny fears/anxieties etc. That was pure luck and we're just really glad she's so great with him!

The boys used to hate it when they were younger and Jake used to freak at the sound of the razor but they are ok now, once you don't try to force them to talk to the girls cutting their hair. Amelia is fine too but figety. Reese actually asked me today to take him to get his hair cut, he says its getting too long and he can't get his Jedward style the way he wants it. If he is like this at 6 what will he be like at`16

Oh definatly in the past 2 weeks i have bought 5 different hair products for him because they just were not giving the Jedward effect he wanted. Im a bigger fool for actually buying it all. In the end i had to do research and try to find out what Jedward use on their hair. I found a random post on a forum which suggested this hair glue which luckily was on offer in Tesco which he is happy with. Now i have 4 tubes of hair gel that are full but don't get the job right. Ill have to find someone to donate them too that uses hair gel lol.
