Except I got a bit emotional because the children thought I was "back" and got all excited, so when I said I wasn't and was only visiting they were all sad-looking. But we had a good chat and I promised to bring the baby to meet them after the summer holidays, and I gave them their little gifts which they loved. Some of them had a gift or card for me and I got lots of hugs which was nice. I also got a beautiful bunch of flowers from school and lots of thankyous and hugs from the staff, assurances of a glowing reference and offers to do supply at the school when I'm ready to go back to work.

I've had nice send-offs and embarrassing send-offs and even one where it was like they couldn't care less I was going in the past, and considering I only worked here for 1 term this was one of the best.

Relieved to be done though, I get so tired even going out for an hour.

So tired this afternoon for doing this - it's ridiculous! I hope if I'm gonna go 3-4 more weeks that I don't feel like this the whole time!!
