Since we do seem to have a lot of them on UK TV!

What do you like about them, and do you ever make any of their recipes or use any of their tips?

Have you bought any of their cook books?

My favourite is Heston, he is just so different. I loved the Little Chef series (since I'm a Little Chef fan as well) and the series where he did themed dinners, the Willy Wonka one was best. I don't have any cook books by him and doubt I would use his ideas - they're too "out there" and too much hard work! - but he's good to watch.

I do have Jamie Oliver's "Ministry of Food" cook book and one by James Martin which is arranged by season for cooking seasonal food and I do use those from time to time.

i love Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall from river cottage, we have tried a few of his recipes for roasted veggies, chicken and chocolate cakes - all turned out perfect

I don't watch any cookery programs so I don't have a favourite chef!
