Does your nearest seaside resort have illuminations in the autumn/winter? (and where is this if so)?

When do they start? Do you go? How good are they?

Haven't a clue! All the towns have their own Christmas lights though and the major town have big 'turning on' events with the odd famous person/people turning them on (Olly Murs, Jedward, WWE stars, Peter Andre to name a few)

There is a little village about 20 minutes drive from us where all the residents in one long street do their own illuminations every year to raise money for charity. We've never been but I have seen pictures and it looks spectacular! If they are doing it again this year we will be taking the kids along.
