Has anyone else ever had the healthy start vouchers for milk, fruit and veg?

I've been given a form for them by the tax credits people, are they fairly easy to apply for, is it worth doing? Must get around to it this week.

its very easy to do aslong as you don't get working tax creds and your income is below 14k a year then you can get them.. we get working tax creds so we don't get them, but we got them in the past. It took about 3 weeks to get approved & they send you them monthly (atleast they did when i got them a couple of yrs ago) and you can just spend them all in one go then or just do it weekly youll get them every month in the post.

eta: its deff worth doing!! we only had the girls when we did it and we got about 3.10 a week i think which got milk and bananas for us

Thanks hun! No we just get child tax cred now which I assume is why they've sent me the form.
6 a week is well worth having since we do buy formula every couple of weeks as I supplement, and a lot of fruit and veg. Gonna get this done!

I've never had them before. I don't think we are entitled to them because of James's income.

This is why I've never had them before. Someone in the house has always been working before when I've had a child of the right age. We'll only be able to get them until Shaun or I gets a job.

I filled in my application today but then realised I need to get the HV to sign it, so will have to take it with me to clinic on Monday.
