Does your kids' school have a harvest collection? (eg tinned, packet food etc)

What are you giving this year?

Yes Alyssa has harvest service on thursday. She has taken in some tins and packets of food. They don't like fresh stuff for keeping it.

They don't have harvest collections but are having a bake sale on friday next to fundraise to build a new school. Everyone sends something in and we also can go buy aswell.

They always make a collection of non-perishable food which is then donated to an old people's home or for the homeless. We have some tinned fruit and soups to donate which are types we've accumulated that none of us like. And some pasta n sauce packets.

Zach's school had a bake sale to try to help raise money. They also had a school assembly where they asked for donations.
