Are your kids counting down the days yet?

Are they looking forward to it, or would they prefer to be in school?

Mine are counting down the days to the Halloween party, however Jake would prefer to be in school, he just loves it so much now (huge difference to last year when he was trying to make himself ill to get a day off), and Reese wouldn't mind either if he had to go, which is also a huge difference to last year when he didn't want to go any day at all for the whole year. What difference a year and a new school makes huh.

Alyssa is looking forward to half term she is getting really tired now. It gives her a break from school even though she likes it. I am looking forward to having a few days with her and us doing some nice things.

wow Yvonne, your kids had mid-term early. Is it this early every year? Did they go back to school at the start of sept or earlier?

Scottish schools finish for the summer at the end of June and go back mid-August. They have time off near enough every month! Long weekend in September, week in October, long weekend in November, Christmas holiday in December & January, long weekend in February, March is usually holiday free, but next year they break up for Easter on the 28th March, go back 15th April, long weekend in May and summer holidays start in June!!!
