What reward systems do they use in your kids' schools? Do they work on your kids?

I can't make head nor tail of Daniel's. It's not the same as when I taught there. They have stickers for this and certificates for that and at least five different awards to "play" for each week. Daniel likes being called out in the reward assembly but he doesn't care what for!

Ours get points, every time they get 10 points they can choose something out of the teachers treat bag, which has little bouncy balls, colouring pencils, rubbers, things like that in it, if they are extra good they also get a jelly. The boys love it and work hard to get their points.

They get ticks.. they have to get 25 ticks to get a prize out of the treat bag, same as above, pencils, notepad or whatever, every 5 sticks they get a sticker though too keep them encouraged they have a "naughty cloud" system for bad behaviour, there is a sunshine, grey cloud and a black cloud, first warning goes on grey cloud an second warning goes on black cloud, and you get a time out if you are on black

Ours have the cloud system going too. They have the white cloud, the rain cloud and the thunder cloud. When Reese explained it to us first as we didn't have this in the old school he said, 'Don't worry, im only on the white cloud, im not in real trouble till i get to the thunder cloud' lol. I don't think its gonna work with Reese as he has already worked out his way around it, be a little naughty, then be good, get yourself off the cloud before you get the chance to get to the thunder cloud. I have to say though, after 3 yrs of no talking in school i was very happy to hear he was on the cloud for talking too much

They get house points. There are four houses and everyone wants to win the house cup, so the incentive to do well and earn points is high!
