Is anyone gifting someone a present they made themselves?

If yes, what is it?

Do you gift items you made most years?

If not, have you ever considered making something to give as a present?

What would you like to make?

Some years I do, I made one of my Secret Santa presents this year, however it depends on time, energy and motivation and most of my gifts this year are bought.

Things I've made for people have included crystal medicine wheels/pouches, a Book of Shadows, printed card readings including scanned pictures of the cards, biscuits, and jewellery.

Sometimes I make handmade gifts, if I have the time and inclination! Last year I made novelty wax crayons as gifts for all my friends' children. They were very well received. I've also made crocheted blankets as gifts before too, but those can be very time consuming to make.

This is the first year I'm doing anything homemade. Mam has gotten a coat I made as part of her pressie even though she already has it, also some of my nephews and niece and friends kids will be getting knitted hats that I made.

I think it's nice to give handmade gifts, it feels a bit more personal.
