Ive had a hard few days, especially with Jake. Both boys seem to be struggling with sensory issues at the moment, Jake the most. They get a block of therapies every year for 8 - 10 weeks and they usually end just before christmas. We are still waiting to hear when this years one will be so essentially they have gone the whole of 2012 without any therapies from professionals anyway.(And not from the lack of me trying to get them appointments, believe me) I try to do my best at home but at the end of the day its limited as im not professionally trained, im just doing the little bits i was thought by their therapists over the past few years. Jake is so bad for the past few days that he missed school as i just couldnt' send him. His eye usually twitches when he gets stressed but this week his whole head has been twitching and he hasn't been sleeping well. Add to that Reeses usual 4/5 nightly wake ups and we have had very little sleep. I feel like im running on auto pilot. The school is going to do their best and are going to give them more time in the sensory room (thankfully, that school and their teacher is a blessing in our lives). So if im missing more over the next few days, you know why. My priority at the moment is them and they do seem to be settling a bit again. Ill try and get on tomorrow evening for a bit. I hope you are all well and ill talk to you all soon.
