I saw a story on FB yesterday about a woman in Queensland, Australia who had delivered (via c-section) a 14lb 14oz baby boy! Ouchy! And here I was worried that my baby is going to be big at around 9lb 7oz (that's what I was measuring on target for at my last midwife appointment).

How much did your little one(s) weigh at birth? And did you find with each baby you had (if you've had more than one) they weighed more than the last at birth?

I read that i was like wow!!

I was induced with Rhianna at 40 weeks for the reason she stopped growing a couple weeks before hand so they wanted her out, she was born weighing 5lbs 13oz.

Lacey was born at 40+5 days and she weighed 8lbs 1oz

Lucas was born at 41+5 days and he only weighed 8lbs i was expecting him to be huge as he was cooking for two weeks longer.

They have said all through this pregnancy that this baby will be average (around 8lbs) but every day i go over i think he is putting on more weight, i hope it isn't too much!

Rhianna was the hardest baby to deliver as she was so small and weak she didn't "help" she took 1hour of pushing, they say the bigger they are the more they help deliver themselves at the pushing stage.. Lacey was very easy to deliver about 15 minutes and Lucas only took 2-3 pushes around 5minutes.

It seems then that babies don't always get bigger with each pregnancy.

Rach, your kids were all tiny little babies!

Zach was four days overdue and he was 8lb 13oz which felt big enough!
Mischa was five days overdue and she was 7lb 13oz.

They were all tiny..i was quite glad Ciara had to have a load of tests done as they were concerned as to why she was so small but there was no reasons i obviously just grow them small, She was in preemie clothes and nappies for ages as normal ones just fell off her.

Hopefully Lou this baby will be more Mischas size!
