I've been asked to go into school tomorrow and give a parents' view to an Ofsted inspector.

I'm really quite nervous since as a teacher obviously I associate Ofsted inspectors with being watched/critiqued etc lol!

Has this ever happened to any of you? I assume I've been picked to represent parents of special needs children as they pick a cross-section.

I was chosen when Jaidyn was in nursery, Lucas was in the school too so I was asked about both aspects of the school. Stuff like did I feel fully informed on what was going on in the nursery or school, did I feel the teachers supported pupils & parents etc etc.

Thanks Yvonne! Hopefully it will be quite short. I don't have anything bad to say about them at all.

For anyone else who gets asked to do this, it's not so bad. There were about 7 parents asked to do it and we all went in together. It was a bit like a focus group, and we bounced ideas off each other. I hope the school does well! The teachers and other staff all looked sick to their stomachs yesterday - they're all so dedicated and it really is a fantastic school so they deserve a good, if not an outstanding.
