How are you today hon?

How are you doing with the pains? Are they getting any stronger / more frequent?

Thinking of you and hoping baby makes an appearance very soon.

Doing ok today, thanks for asking. Lots of BH contractions, sore lower back and I've been losing bits of my plug as well. I'm hoping all these are signs that things are moving in the right direction, although I don't want to go into labour tonight as James is in bed poorly with Zach's sickness bug.

Glad things are moving along for you. I hope baby hangs on while James recovers in that case!!

Urgh, come midnight last night I was being sick too and have had awful diarrhoea. Really hoped I wouldn't catch this stomach bug. Brought on loads of really painful BH too but thankfully they seem to have calmed down now.

Went for a really long walk today and that set off more pains so I guess that's what I need to be doing to get this baby out!

Have you tried having a hot/cold bath/shower - the opposite of what you usually have? Do you have a birthing ball to bounce about on, apparently that's supposed to help with positioning?

How are you feeling today?

I normally have warm showers but have been having them a lot hotter lately. Doesn't do anything!

The pains have gone again today. I reckon it's going to be like this until the baby comes now (which will be 4 or 5 days past my due date)!

I really feel for you having not long been through it myself. It's hard to keep yourself busy too because when you're that big you don't feel much like going out and doing stuff. I hope James is being very, very good to you.

James is being very good thankfully. He gets the kids up in the morning, sorts their breakfast and gets them dressed. And in the evening he puts them to bed and reads their stories. He knows how exhausted I am and does what he can to help.

I'm glad to hear it sweetie. Do you get much rest during the day?

I do when the kids are at school, in between keeping on top of chores like washing and hoovering (which I don't do every day at the moment because I'm too tired).
