Is anyone celebrating, going to a parade, etc?

St Patrick's Day was my dad's birthday so we went out for a family Sunday lunch and walk. Brought back ice cream for later. Having a lovely day.

Sounds good! I've never been to a St Patrick's Day parade, what sorts of things did it have?

a lot of the local business do a float and the parade starts of the procession with a fire engine, the mayor..most of the local clubs all parade, Jamie went with the gym club and some of the girls did tumbles up the street, there is usually a marching band and a lot of the paraders throw out sweets there were quite a few tractors in this years parade as well.. its good fun though and the kids get a real kick out of it! theres always a party atmostphere on the street and eople dress up
