Nothing fancy, since it's totally budget-driven this year, but I managed to book a caravan for a week in Wales at an absolute snip compared to holiday park prices. It's on farmland and belongs to the farmer's wife, just a little south and closer to the coast from where we stayed last year. (We wanted to go to the same sort of area because Daniel loved it and there were things we didn't get to do due to the dire weather).

Looking forward to it, I will need it after the stress of a term of jobhunting while keeping all the other balls up in the air.

Who else has booked their summer break/vacation/visit/treat?

We went away at Whit instead of in the summer last year since it would have been impossible for me to go away in July/August. Could you and Paul not get away for a little "babymoon" long weekend somewhere hon?

I booked a holiday last september for this August so it's been arranged for a while we are going to Haven to stay in a caravan only 20 mins up the road from us but kids loved it last year :-) X

No holiday for us this year unfortunately. We are saving for a holiday to Spain next year though.

That sounds nice, Lou! And France sounds nice Becca, brave of you with an infant!

I love caravan holidays Sarah, we stayed at Haven in Bideford one year and loved it, when kids are a bit older I'm planning on Haven and Butlins and then maybe venturing abroad when they're teens.
