Your life.. ? Is it how you imagined it to be? I mean even if you knew you wanted children and a husband are you bringing up the kids the way you thought you would be? is the husband the kind you imagined growing up? If you have a career was it what you imagined doing? if it is, is the job living up to how you imagined? etc etc
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Growing up I always imagined being married and having a family of 3 or more children, I love my life how it is now but I always imagined living in the countryside with my children running through fields, picking flowers, getting muddy etc probably because I love the countryside ;D I do feel a bit guilty that we are just the average family living in an average town and that it's too late for that to change now and my kids will never grow up in the country side and we will never have tons of money to spoil them on expensive holidays etc but they are loved and we do fun things, i guess that's all that counts.

Not really. I imagined I would be married and my kids would be by the same father, 3-4 kids, and teaching full-time, by this age.

The reality is I'm still not married - not even engaged and my kids have two different fathers, only two and cannot have more after what happened in l&d with the two I've got, and struggling to get back into a full-time teaching post actually pretty much a SAHM/occasional WAHM (readings) at the moment. The angel readings came out of left field and are not something I EVER thought of growing up.

(((Hugs))) Sharron.

Sarah, your kids are loved, looked after and happy. You have nothing to feel guilty about.

When I was growing up I always wanted to get married and have children, although I thought I'd only ever have two! I guess my life is mostly how I thought it would be, although I would have preferred to be living by the sea (I spent a large portion of my childhood growing up by the sea). I love James very much but if there was one thing I would change about him to fit my ideal husband, it would be that he is more romantic. As it is I don't think he even knows what romance means!
