I'd agree with Fistral beach and Porthminster beach; I've been to both of those beaches. But where are all the beaches in Scotland?! There are some beautiful beaches up there!

I haven't been to any of those so I can't say whether I agree or disagree, but I just have to add that Portstewart Strand here in NI is truly breath-taking on a clear day!

It is truly so beautiful! We were there yesterday. Here is a pic of my son at the beach

The water is very clear and the sand so nice and soft. Love it!

There are definitely some great beaches missing from there. When I stayed up with Sarah (madmum) we've been to Cruden Bay and Fraserburgh beach which are both beautiful! And for a day out Daniel and I love the sands at Rhyl. I don't think I've been to many of those on the list though I saw Fistral Beach on Don't Tell The Bride and I do agree it looked nice!

It's easy to forget how stunning some of our beaches are. I grew up in Bournemouth and have always considered the beaches to be the best there, but some of these pictures have changed my mind. Portstewart Strand looks amazing!

For Scotland's beautiful beaches you have to head north, so maybe they were too cold for Tripadvisor people lol

Wow beautiful pictures. I have been to Filey and love Barmston as I can take the dogs on part of it all year.
