women were talking about their weight and one one them talked about "stone" ..
what's a stone in weight?!?!

1 stone = 14 lbs. We use stone a lot more in the UK

Well we have pounds here!..
Pounds and ounces, but I had NEVER heard of a stone!
There is no french synonym for a stone...

Yup 14lbs is a stone, i think we are the only country to say stones in weight.

I used to be so used to stones, but here in US its pounds and when i was living in sweden it was kg, talk about confusing
