nothing to report - was a very boring appointment
bp fine, im measuring fine, babys hb is fine, I have a possible uti
she also gave me a prescription for a nasal spray and eyedrops for the hayfever
I went to the chemist and nearly fell on the floor when she asked for the money....76EURO
Its a good job im not sick - id never be able to afford it!!

no, no free presciptions, maternity appointments are free and its free for me and baby until baby is 6weeks then we will have to start paying to see a doctor again!!

im crap at working out euros to pounds what would that be? its still 76 euros to much we get free prescriptions while pregnant!

you are telling me!!!
Ciaras dr wants to change her medication to a differet tablet - the new tablets will cost 130 euro a month!!
I think Ill stick with the ones she is on which are a much more reasonable 20 Euro a month!!
Thank god at least diabetics get free scripts otherwise we would be completely screwed having to pay for Decs insulin!

I find it more expensive than the UK
alot of stuff is the same sort of price
food is slightly more expensive (supermarkets), take out would be a similar price
alcohol is more expensive
Declan pays 42% tax  , he wouldnt be on an incredible wage but its not a really low one either
we get no free heathcare unless you earn next to nothing and you can get a medical card for that
other stuff is cheaper - our petrol is cheaper than the UK but on the whole I think its more expensive overall
