I'm so glad you enjoyed it!! It's just so much fun and made me shed a tear too!! You're right though, the adverts do make it look like something it isn't.

I wasn't expecting to see the film i did, if that makes sense. It was very Sofia Coppola-esque (The Virgin Suicides 99, Lost In Translation 03 and Marie Antoinette 06) and i loved the cinematography and edit work, I also thought the credits at the beginning were really well done. I might actually write a paper on it when it comes out on DVD, its a pretty radical film in the way teen pregnancy is looked at for sure.

I loved the opening credits; so original! I thought the film was very quirky, the humour was subtle but clever and I was impressed that it broached a side to teenage pregnancies that is rarely portrayed in film, and so 'honestly' too.

oh yeah, it showed a teen making the right choice for her and her baby which rarely happens, also it happened to a teen girl you wouldn't usually associate with getting pregnant young (human preconception), especially in films

I really can't rate the film enough. I'm just sad that so many people will go to the cinema expecting something different, and won't enjoy the film; poor advertising in my opinion!

i think most in the cinema were pleasantly surprised. It won an oscar for Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen and a BAFTA for best screenplay too, critics chocie for best sceenplay and best comedy movie, and Ellen Page won a best actress award too its been nominated and one awards everywhere

I adored Juno! that film was soooo awesome!

Everyone I knew was slating it but I liked the look of the ads and went to see it. Best ten quid I ever spent in my opinion. I wasn't expecting the ending but it still had me laughing and crying

And deservedly so, I think! Ellen Page was just fantastic and played the part brilliantly.

Have you seen Hard Candy? That was the first film I saw her in (it won 4 awards and was nominated for another 6 I think) - I must admit the film made me feel very uncomfortable and I was disturbed by it, but I guess that's the point.

I never saw the trailer; James picked it up based on the synopsis on the back of the DVD box. Watch it and see what you think.

I almost walked out of the golden compass (seriously it was that bad) but Ian Mckellan and the special effects made me sit thru it
