Is there anything you are planning on giving up now that your pregnant?

I'm going to stop drinking coffee...I only drink one cup a day any way...I went all day with no caffeine and it drove me crazy, so I just had a glass of Dr Pepper, which is my other bad habbit...I'm not sure I can give that up all the way, but i'm going to try to cut it back to 1 glass a day....I'm also going to try giving up sleeping on my stomach early on, so it's not so hard once I get farther along lol

I am also giving up coffee since studies show the more caffeine you have a day the higher your risk of miscarriage. I was only a one cup a day drinker too.

I am also a fan of Dr. Pepper, but I am going to try to wait until the 2nd trimester before drinking any. It is going to be tough.

I did really well in my last pregnancy with the Dr Pepper...I actually wasn't drinking much of it at home, and maybe just a couple times a week while we were out eating etc ....I felt awful all day, dragging, my head hurt etc...I had a glass of Dr. Pepper and I felt so much better....I'm still going to try to drink as little as possible...another thing I did was drink root beer instead of Dr. Pepper too...I also thought that root beer helped with my morning sickness

This time around I am giving up fast food. I still have a good deal of my pregnancy weight from the 1st time and I really don't want to blow up like a blimp

Giving up caffeine completely (and alcohol of course). It's my first pregnancy and I am super nervous!

Red wine...the only alcohol I ever really drink. I think I have to give up my bootcamp class too, but I'm going to talk to both the trainer and my OB about it. I just lost 15lbs, and really want to stick with an exercise routine while pregnant. I gained too much with both my boys, and don't want that to happen again!

I guess I'm in the minority in that I don't give up coffee! I drank it through my pregnancies with my boys.

Not giving up my Diet Dr. Peppers, but I'm cutting back to one a day. I usually stick to caffeine free the rest of the day. That's the only thing that will hurt me to give up. The rest of the stuff is not hard for me at all.

For me it's Caffeine Free Diet Coke... so hard for me! It's my one true addiction! I'll probably have one occasionally when I go out to eat or to a movie!

I'm decreasing caffeine. I'm trying to drink more tea than coffee. I'll probably drink a cup from time to time though. I'm a teacher on summer vacation, so I don't think I'll feel the effects of no coffee until the fall

I'll be giving a lot of stuff up later on. I never really stopped my caffeine intake, just tried to take in less. I had GD w/ Logan and probably will again since that was just 10 months ago, so I'll be on a nice, strict diet and have to watch and balance everything I eat.
