Just trying to figure out if I have enough clothes. I know they can go through clothes pretty good. I have 4 going out outfits in 0-3mths and then 4 newborn bodysuits, and 8 0-3mths bodysuits with a few pants, 2 gowns, and 3 full body sleepers. Do you guys think this is enough for the 0-3mths stage? I have some 3-6mths items and things but just for the 0-3mths size. I think last time I had way to many clothes but dont want to have to less either. I am sure I will get more outfits at my baby shower as well.

How many receiving blankets should I have? I am thinking 8 should be plenty. Its been awhile since I had a baby so I cant remember quiet right on this.

How many clothes and things do you guys have?

What about diapers? We stocked up some but I know we will need more. Its hard to stock up when your trying to buy so much at one time.

I also just washed 0-3mths size and not any other sizes. I just keep thinking she may not be able to wear the same size as her age is and we may have to either take some back or give some away. So I hated to wash all the sizes up right now. What are you ladies doing?

I feel I am already nesting and feeling pressure to get everything done. We still need to paint and do more stuff in the room. LOL

I was wondering this too. I seem to have a lot of warm clothes for 0-3 months so I washed some and left some with labels on just in case I want to take it back. For most of it, it's probably not worth it now though as it's all winter stuff that's on clearance everywhere.

It'll still be fairly chilly here for a while in March though so he should get some use out of it.

Yes I am hoping to get some more spring outfits for 0-3mths at the baby shower. I have mostly warm to for this size. I really like having a lot of bodysuits as well but I think I had way to many last time. LOL Hopefully I have enough of these.

I'm having a hard time with clothes, if she is small like DD then she will need some 0-3 mos for warmer weather. I have a ton of nb and 0-3 onesies, I don't think you could have too many. I have about 10 0-3 sleepers and probably 6 nb pants. I'm trying to hold out on buying anymore clothes until after my shower.

I have roughly in 0-3:

20 sleepers
10 gowns
15 receiving blankets
3-4 dozen burp cloths (my kids have all been pukers)
I have about 75 cloth diapers but I have preemie, newborn and smalls and I CD so this should be plenty I am thinking
15 onesies/under shirts

We don't put "real" clothes on our newborn unless it is like Carters cozy 2 piece outfits

*I have a little less preemie clothes, and about the same amount of size newborn as I do 0-3*

With DS1, I bought hardly any newborn stuff cause I thought he would be big. Nope So I had to go out a buy a few outfits when he was born.

But he lived in onesies and gowns for the first 2 months. We just threw on some pants and socks and he had a little outfit. It made it super easy to change him.

As for the diapers, we bought one newborn pack at a time. It seems like they grow overnight into the next size. Once they get to size 1, you can buy more at one time.

OMG Anna you have a ton of clothes. LOL With my last 2 dd's she barely got to wear all of her oneies we had so many. LOL I may need a few more. 15 receiving blankets seems like a ton. LOL

I like to keep my babies in oneies and sleepers at first too. Its just easier.

I am trying to wait till after my shower to buy more clothes as well. I figure I wont be getting a whole lot of oneies though. I dont think I got any with my other 2 dd's. I bought all those up myself.

We have 2 big boxes of NB diapers right now and then a big box of size 1 and size 2. I think that is all we have bought so far.

Oh I went to recount oneies. I have 12 for the nb and 0-3mths size. I wonder if I should get more? I have some pants to go with them as well but probably need more pants.

We used like 3-4 a day! They were our burp cloths. And we had a baby who liked to spit up. Plus we changed his diaper on them as well.

We use cloth diapers as burp clothes so didnt need as many receiving blankets. I did roll them up to position baby and them wrap them up in them but that was about it. I guess they would work as burp clothes though. Folded up.

Since mine are born early they have a harder time maintain body temperature, so they have to be wrapped in 2 of them at all times, and they spit up really bad. I wouldn't normally suggest that many, it's just what we need..lol
