Is there a hobby that you would like to learn more about?

Would you take a class if it was just for your own benefit?



I decided to ask this, because I want to become more knowledgeable on a few things. Such as photography and photoshop. I would love to learn how to take amazing pictures and to edit them. I'd also like to take a class on sewing, wood working, an automotive type class. I'd like to know basics so I can do things myself if need be. Sew clothes if I had too, at least know how to fix things. How to build things out of wood, the sanding and shaping etc. I'd like to know how to get into the hood of my car and know what is what and to find issues that maybe I could fix. I think it would be smart. Some of these could be money savers in the long run. I might take a class next year. Who knows.

The community college near us offers courses all the time on different things - everything from crocheting afgans, to living off the grid, to guitar lessons. I haven't taken advantage of any of these but I really want to. I've seen a few I was interested in but just haven't done it yet. I'd like to take an official class on web design - I'm self taught and I think it might help fill in a lot of gaps.

i think i would like to take sewing classes and definitely cake decorating classes.
i would also love to take a high altitude baking class. i know enough right now to modify some recipes, but i'd like to know more to create my own recipes.
there is a class offered here but it's REALLY rare. i'm hoping to get into the next one.

I'd love to take classes on any of those things! Woodworking, automative, and sewing especially. Oh, and living off the grid. I've always enjoyed school, but as I've gotten older, I've found myself wanting more practical knowledge. The only thing I've taken a class for were music lessons (banjo) a few years ago.

I suppose getting more in depth knowledge of sewing might be nice. I've sort of been fumbling around and it might be nice to know what exacly I should be doing. As of now it feels like a hit or miss whether a project will look nice or not.

I like the idea of learning things to better myself. Also, to do what I need to myself if I needed to. Of the grid would be cool.

I'd love to take a sewing class and living off the grid or a survival course. That would be fun! Cooking and baking would be fun, too. I love to cook and bake but, I would like to learn more.
