2 weeks until Reagan is 13 months old and still no independent standing for more than a few seconds at best....still primarily crawling (since 7 months)...although trying to stand independently on occasion. I know there is a wide range for normal.....just hoping for sooner rather than later. It may be 15 months plus before I have a walker. The way she was progressing before, I really thought it would have happened by now but not so much. Anyone else with me?

We are. Liz isn't walking yet either, and can't stand on her own for more than maybe a second. She cruises around the furniture and has been crawling for a while now, but no signs of walking yet. I hope she starts soon though, makes going to the park a lot easier with a walker than a non walker.

I am in the same boat as you both. No walking here yet either. She cruises the furniture and can stand independently for a second or so. She has tried to take an independent step to me, but winds up almost going face first into the floor.

My son will be 12 months in 3 weeks. He isn't standing independently yet, or walking. He is cruising really fast though.

I've heard of some kids waiting until almost two and walking just fine. I wouldn't worry until Reagan is at least 16 mos

Esme's walking, Nadine's not. She cruises and will stand independently every once in awhile. We've started using the walker with her a lot, though, and I've noticed a couple of times in the past few days where she's clearly thought about taking a step on her own but then changed her mind.

I sometimes wished we had a walker, but they banned them in Canada. The closest thing we have is this:

VTech Sit-to-Stand Baby Learning Walker - Walmart.com

Liz loves it and uses it all the time.

Steph, that's the exact same one we have and what Nadine has been using. The old-fashioned walkers aren't banned here, but they're discouraged.

Mine's not walking yet either. She will pull up to her knees, she will put her butt up in the air while playing with toys... leaning down but won't stand up. She loves crawling and is very very good at it.

E just started walking last week at 13.5 months. It was only a matter of a week or two that he went from not even close to walking to officially being a walker.

Brycen is almost 13 months too and has no interest in walking. He's been cruising furniture since 9 months and can stand on his own but he's so cautious that he prefers to crawl. Seems like the more we try and work with him the more he resists, so I've just let him be. I caught him twice taking a step on his own but nothing since. My nephews were late walkers (like 18 months I think) so I have a feeling he'll be the same way.

not here either. he's walking pretty well only holding on to one hand now, but he's not confident enough yet and needs more balance work. i figure another month or so.

Sarah is not walking yet.. She has a walker but it's not helping. She can only crawl and stand up with the help of something.
