Just curious if you ladies are giving your LOs juice yet. I haven't, and will probably wait a while just to avoid the sugar. But I did give her a little sip of my Vitamin Water and Sarah LOVED it!

None of us do juice much. But if we do it is 100% juice. He's had a few sips I think.

Mostly just water or milk, but every once in a while, I'll put a splash of juice in his water.

DH is really anxious to get her on juice but I'm against it unless it's 75%ish water. I was an obese child/teen and so I'm trying to keep the sugar and stuff on the DL lol

We don't do juice until later on, there's just nothing beneficial in it at this age IMO. She gets a lot of fruit so to me, juice isn't needed and it's full of sugar. For drinks she gets water or milk and she's happy with that.
We did this with Ayla and she's now six and a very good water drinking, that's always the first thing she asks for.

I agree with you. I also did this with my first but now at almost 4 it is really hard to get her to drink water.
Anyway even though it didnt work as well for us as you guys I figure it's still worth the try and well worth it to keep juice out for the first years.

Yes, we do juice. I started with a mix of water and juice as she was having trouble pooping. (TMI).
I only give her 1/2 a cup at most during the whole day. Mostly she drinks water or milk.

Yes, I've been giving Shawn juice. I kind of had to give him something sweet to get him to take the sippy. Now that he's taking the sippy well I'm giving him mostly water or almond milk in it but I do give him some juice. I just try not to let him have too much.

Whitney has not had juice yet. I would like to wait until she is older for her to have juice, but we will see

I have given my dd juice. She was a bit backed up so I gave her the natural remedy of 100% juice, not diluted. With the previous dc I gave them about a 50/50 juice water mix starting around a year old. Now with the older ones they get capri sun which is about 5% juice the rest water.

EV has had juice for a while. But it's mostly water. I mean maybe an ounce of juice and the rest water. If she hasn't gone in a day, I add a bit more juice.

Miles has not had juice yet and I probably won't give him any anytime soon. My older son, Colin, has juice occasionally. We are big water drinkers in our house. What I do for Colin is buy those Crystal light individual packets, then just add a little to his water if he wants "juice."

I've given Rebecca apple juice mixed with water, I only give it to her when she's having a hard time pooping, but she really just plays with it and maybe takes only a few sips, she's not a fan of it.
