So I stopped taking my bc pills last Wednesday. I started having a little brownish discharge yesterday and I'm having some spotting which has acted a my AF for months now. What I'm wondering is if it's going to be like it has been the last few months and not much in the flowing area or can I expect a normal period?

It can take a few months for cycles to get back to 'normal' after stopping the pill. If it keeps up that way, I'd try to get into see an OB and ask some questions! I hope it starts up on its own though!

yeh i agree with maggie. BC can screw up your system sometimes. Some women can come off the pill and are back to normal cycles immeidately others take a few cycles to get normal again.

I spotted for 147 days straight after going off bc - that's what finally got me my PCOS diagnosis. Unfortunately it takes awhile, and my personal feeling is that I went so long without letting my body do what it wanted to naturally that it didn't know what to do after bc!
