For the US gals... since most states are having wintry weather, are YOU getting snow where you are???

We got a few inches, but here in TX it might as well have been a few feet! School has been out all week. It wasn't so much the snow, but the ice. The roads are so slick and we just don't have the resources to take care of it like they do back east. DH and I finally got out today to get some more groceries- we've been in the house since Monday afternoon! It took us forever to get home, plus we taxied a stranded driver to a nearby gas station. What a mess. It's so pretty but so dangerous if you aren't used to driving in it!

So, how about you??

Im in New York City and we've had snow on the ground since the Christmas blizzard! the last snow fall we had was number 9 for us and it just keeps piling on to the snow that was already there from before... the roads are pretty much cleared its the sidewalks that are really dangerous for pedestrians because of the ice that accumulated and many crosswalks are all slush! its disgusting!

WE WANT SPRING!!!

I'm in Northern California and sorry to say to all of you battling the snow, but it's looking a lot like Spring is already here at the moment!

I'm just north of you in Oklahoma and we were snowed in since Tuesday. Well, like you said not so much snow but HOLY ICE STORM. The roads had inches of ice. My DH would get out and drive on it but not me! It is all melted off the roads now but my back yard is still covered.
