hey everyone I am new here and was just diagnosed with PCOS 4 days ago, right now my dr is considering metformine for me but wants an HSG run 1st so we're waiting for that before we start any meds. I am just ready to get "doing" something since me and hubby have been ttc for a year now.
I do have a daughter from a previous relationship but the Dr thinks that was just amazing timing and me being about 100 pounds lighter than I am now....
Hi & Welcome to the board!
Congrats on your daughter! What a great accomplishment!
An HSG will be really useful in helping get you pregnant! I hope you are able to get on Metformin, & between those two things, you get your #2!
You didn't really say much, so I wanted to be sure that you know you can talk about anything here. Any joys, sorrows, hesitations, fears, whatever. PCOS is as much an emotional problem as it is physical and there's no reason why you have to deal with it alone. HSG's can work wonders towards aiding in pregnancy, as can Metformin. I hope that they help you get your BFP quickly.
I'm glad you finally got a diagnosis...it can be so frustrating to know you tried so hard and so long and took that long to get a diagnosis! I hope you get some answers soon Lots of us on here have had HSG's so if you have any questions, let us know! Oh and practically everyone but me takes Met
Oh believe me I tend to "talk" more later I just try to make my intros short and sweet, I am always getting told to be less verbose in school so I guess its starting to come across into my non-academic life as well....maybe its a good thing
