first off... YAY and ABOUT TIME!! hehehe.. temping just makes ttc life a little bit easier i think....

advice... hmmmm.... temp at THE SAME TIME every morning... make sure you get AT LEAST 4 hours of sleep before you temp... also, i have a hard time remembering the temp on my bbt because i am usually too sleepy so i keep a pen and paper on my nightstand to jot it down just in case.

i am happy you jumped on the temping wagon. it really is helpful.. <3

i will be stalking your chart!

Haha, I know, I get up at different times every day, but I guess I will just set my alarm!
Yay, I'm excited!

No, I started on March 3rd ( The day I went to the ER with "weird" bleeding).
So, today is CD4, but better late then never I guess. I meant to start CD1, but it slipped my mind.
3 days difference shouldn't hurt.

I don't usually temp until after AF goes away... gives me a little bit of a break :-) So excited for you! If you get a RiteAid BBT it has a little memory feature that's nice on those "go back to sleep mornings"

Wow girl, I think you and I were the last two to jump on the bandwagon on temping! lol
I started this cycle, so I'm still a super newbie at it, too.
I have an alarm set on my Droid that goes off at 6 am every morning and that's when I temp. During the week that's near the time I have to get up for work, but I still temp at that time on the weekends, too. (it's a pain, but I think it's worth it)
I also have an app on my phone that I input my temps into each morning, then I update ff.com of the evenings or whenever I can.
That app also has an O reminder that comes up in your notifications...
But I think that maybe it's calculated by your cd1, perhaps not your temps?
It may be different when I input today's but ff hasn't recognized an O date yet??
I don't know... may be grasping at straws??
I'm hoping DH and I will get in BD'ing at different times this week to cover our bases.
I'm doing the cheapo opks also... I just hope they work... first time doing those also!
We'll be newbies at this together hun!!

Yay for us doing it together as newbies, Nat!!
My thermometor saves my last recorded temp, so that's nice.
I get up at 4am with Dylan every morning to see him off, but I always go back to sleep till atleast 8am, so I think I will start to doing it at 8am...I did it @ 7:15 this morning, so maybe 7:15 from now on

i recommend not changing the time of temping until your next cycle.. thats what i did. I had always done 11 am, now i get up at 9 so when i started my new cycle i switched to 9 am! its easier to transition that way for more accurate results

Yay Amber! I will be stalking your charts! You need to link a ticker on your siggy.

If you get up at 4a every morning to see Dylan off, I would temp at 4am. That is, if you go to bed early enough to have had at least 4 hours of sleep by then. Getting up and moving around then going back to sleep and temping at 7a will probably not give you an accurate reading. Remember that it might take a few charts for you to get the hang of it, so try not to overanalyze every temp just yet. Once you have a few charts on your belt, we will overanalyze with you!

I thought about temping at 4, but then I would have to wake up at that time on the weekends & that's a huge NO for me.lol
