I had to take my temperature a little earlier because instead of being to work at 6am I had to go in at 5am. Yesterday temp was 96.8 (at 5:30am) and today it was 97.05 at (4:30am). I'm obviously very new at this and don't know anything about how things should be, is this too much of a increase or is this normal?? Or maybe because the time difference?

it very well could be the time difference... keep charting, you'll learn your body quickly and see what your norm is

That could definitely be the time difference combined with normal variation.

Yeah that sounds about normal to me, mine always varied up to .3 degrees before ovulation because I woke up at all different times a lot. You can take a look at my chart below if you want.
