I've been doing some reading and i've read that a lot of women both expecting and those ttc wrote letters to their unborn child that talks about what they want for them, how much they love them, wanted them, what they hope for their future etc...

i am debating whether i want to do this and then give it to my daughter years down the road...

would you do this or is it 'lame'?

I think it's a great idea, Rita! We are not pg yet, but I've been thinking that we might sit down when I have a bit of a bump and video a little interview of the two of us talking about how excited we are. I think kids love hearing stories about themselves. I used to have my mom tell me the story of my birth, water breaking, going to the hospital, etc. I would have loved it if my parents had done something like that for me way back in the 70s. So I think a kid/future adult would like it, and even if they don't, it's possible that their kids or their kids' kids will be interested. You're creating a family heirloom in a way. Good luck if you decide to do it!

I agree, I think that is an awesome idea! I wanted to start a scrapbook. Honestly, starting with some "memoribilia" from when Price had his reversal surgery. (after all, that is when this adventure really started)

I also agree that it's a great family heirloom!
Very cool idea!

Awesome idea! I also like the video idea, sounds like fun and it's something I would find interesting if my parents would have thought of this

scrapbook also sounds great!!! i have a scrapbook that i made from when DH and i started dating up until we got married, with our vacations and silly milestones in between that i would definitely show my kids once they are old enough... i guess this letter can be a part of that!

thanks girls...
