Remind me, were you on any different medicines this cycle?
Or have you previously been on the bcp and now off of it??

I was just curious because sometimes af can be much different off bcp than on (bcp makes what I call "magic" af's, light periods, lighter cramps, etc.). Also, I discovered that once off the bcp and on clomid, my afs were HORRID! Like from one extreme to the other! Much heavier, more clots, worse cramps, etc.

Like Rita said, it could be totally normal. It could be your body's way of getting "cleaned out" to make a good environment for your fertilized eggo. BUT if it's much different than normal, then def I'd call your Dr or Nurse.

Warning TMI ahead. So I started my cycle 3 days ago. I have noticed my flow is very abnormal for me. It is super heavy and filled with large size clots. For instance, I went to the bathroom last night and heard a very loud plop in the toilet. I'm not in pain and I feel normal. Should I be worried?

i would say its normal but then again, its a personal thing. for me, it would be normal since my periods were always super super heavy and clots were inevitable. if it isn't normal for you, i'd say call a dr and ask just to be safe.

I am on Metformin. I have been off the pill for 3 years now. This afternoon has been normal. No more clots. Maybe it was just a heavy period. It just freaked me out. Thanks for for your help ladies=)
