I don't drink often but this weekend we are having a Halloween party and I'd really like to have a few drinks with friends. There's going to be drunken gummy bears, jello shots and a yummy adult cider. Here's the thing, there's a pretty good chance I will be ovulating this weekend. Not guaranteed as we all know how PCOS can be, but I don't know what the "rules" are with drinking DURING ovulation. I know many women say you shouldn't drink at all while TTC but my OBGYN said that until you're pregnant drinking is fine when it's not done all the time and in her words "can even help you relax a little". I would hate to hold back if it's not a big deal, but I'd also hate to drink not knowing. What to do, what to do. What is your input on it?

From what I've heard from doctors drinking pre-pregnancy isn't a big deal. Most of the time women don't find out their pregnant until they're a week or two late so even drinking in the 2ww(as long as its not a lot) isn't THAT bad either.

I agree with *Manda*. Until you get that BFP I don't think drinking a little while TTC is a big deal. Even on Clomid there isn't anything saying not to drink, but if you're on meds, I would skip drinking just to give you the best chance. Good Luck!

If you may or may not just be ovulating, I wouldn't worry about it
