Today i'd like to see a picture from your wedding day!!!! and a little background story of how you two met, how long you were dating, how long you were engaged for and how long you are married now!!! (if you aren't married yet, a picture of you and your SO with a background story is great!!! )


here is mine:




DH and I met when we were in HS but we used to absolutely despise each other. He was my cousins bff at the time and we used to hang out with completely different crowds. When i started hanging out with my cousin and their "crew" more often, dh and i would constantly butt heads. we couldn't be in the same room together. Then one day, its was like a complete 180* all of a sudden, we started flirting, which led to dating for 4 years, engaged for a year and now married for almost 4 with a baby on the way! who would've thought back then that we would end up together?!?!?!?! also, i'd like to mention that he was my first... i'd like to think that, that makes us a million times stronger and our relationship that much more special. He's the only man i've ever been with, and i don't regret it for a second! he is the love of my life!!!

Shane and I met in High School. We are going to be married March 24th. We have been together for over 2 years. We dated a little when I was 17 and then he left for the army and we didn't talk until 1 year after he returned to the states. I believed all hope was lost for a real man who would treat me right. Then he came back into my life and swept me off my feet. I have yet to come down from cloud 9.

Jason and I were set up by a few friends when we were in high school. I will never forget the first time we met. I thought to myself "are they serious". He was completely opposite what I looked for in a guy. After a few days of hanging out as a group we started to become friends and got to know each other. Then shortly after it started to be just the two of us going out and doing things. I guess he grew on me lol. We dated for 7 years before getting married. (we were engaged for 1 of those) We have now been married for a year and a half and couldn't be happier :-)

This is a pic of me and Chuck when we first met face to face. We met on myspace and talked to each other for 3 months before taking the plunge! It was so sweet, kind of a last minute thing, and he drove from KY to Atlanta to see me for one night. He had to be back for work on Monday so he couldn't stay long. Anyway, we're still together today and he's moved to Atlanta to be with me!


I know bathroom pics suck but we wanted to get a pic of us together and we had to take it using the mirror!

We met when I started hanging out with his group of friends in college. I knew he was very smart and also hot, very kind and giving. He also rocked at our Thursday night Ultimate Frisbee matches. He wasn't even on my radar because I was in a long term relationship, and he had a reputation for not dating pretty much. He later told me that there was work (30 hours a week at an engineering firm) and school (full load, civil engineering, a beast of a degree) and there just hadn't been anyone worth making room in the schedule for.

I broke up with the guy and started casually dating. On Christmas Eve we were all at Buffalo Wild Wings to watch UH in the Aloha Bowl and he asked me out. I was floored - stunned and giddy. I called my BFF on the way home and said I hadn't intended to be in a relationship again any time soon, but I didn't think I was going to last because when a guy like Chris asks you out you don't let him go.

Two years later we got engaged and two years after that we were married. Been married for 4 years. I love him more every day.

I know I'm late on this but better late than never right?

I met DH when I worked at a bookstore and we were setting up the seasonal calendar store. He was gonna work part time there in addition to his job at Lenscrafters. At the time I was skinny and cute and the three guys that worked there all thought I was hot(I hafta be conceited now since I'm no longer that sexy ) Anywho I had no interest in him really. We started to talk as friends a little and somehow exchanged phone numbers. In the beginning I was dating somebody else that I was very serious about so it didnt matter anyways. When that guy suddenly dumped me DH didn't take long to try to swoop in. He kept begging me to go eat at this really nice restaurant in town but I kept telling him I didn't wanna date so he made it a "friend date". After much protesting and when I found out my ex was going on a date that same night I decided I would go after all. DH made me laugh sooooooo much. Still I didn't wanna date him, he was older than me( 6 1/2 years!) and I was still kinda hung up on my ex. As we hung out more though I started to find myself liking him. We finally got together After that we dated for 6 months and got engaged and we got married a little less than a year later.

I had known DH through Church. Our families have gone to Church together for many many years. At one point in time, he was off the market (aka married lol), but everyone in the church (except poor DH) knew that his "wife" was doing things a "wife" shouldn't do. Fast forward about 4-5 years, DH is legally divorced and he approches me at a Church function. We decided to go out and have dinner that evening after the Church function. We dated from that point on for 9.5 months, got engaged at that point, then two and a half months later we got married. (We lacked 10 days dating a year when we got married) We have now been married 6 years! He is certainly my best friend and the love of my life! I couldn't be happier!
