Your kitty and adorable. I wish I could have one, but Shane is allergic. .

This is Bailey. Our first born. She sleeps all day and night LOL. She is soooo sweet. Love her!

This is Buckeye with Bailey. He is a mutt. We got him from an add on craigslist. When we got him you could see every rib. Poor little guy. We have fattened him up and he is a happy and healthy 11 month old puppy!

Lets see some photos of your precious fur babies (present or past) don't have any? no problem! tell us why you don't have/want fur babies or if you want one, post a pic of which one you want!!

This is my Fur baby Mia. She is a tortoise shell doll face persian cat. She is the absolute love of my life. She'll be 2 years old november 11th! She is my 4th kitty. I had a tortoiseshell persian cat for 19 years whom i lost 2 years ago to cancer. I was devastated. DH and I later adopted a beautiful Balinese cat who unexpectedly passed away a year later to unknown causes. We then got a Turkish Anogra cat who turned out to be a little evil and a handful so we gave her away to a wonderful woman who still writes to me about her and how wonderful she is.. she was just never "our" cat. Then we got our beautiful little Mia and she just fits our family. She is cuddly and warm. She is lovey and independent. She is the perfect pet.

Oh I know! We had the small dog first so I definitely KNOW lol. It's just a crummy situation with him bc he has allergies.... and because he is so huge it costs a small fortune for his medication. Where if it was a small dog (or even a normal size one for that matter) it would be way cheaper.

Sorry I don't have any pics to contribute here....

I'm horribly allergic to cats (sorry Rita) and we really don't have the appropriate space for a dog because we live right in town....

But I love seeing your all's pics!!!

Tiny, blurry pic. This is the day we brought Livy home. These were our two border collie rescues. Oreo came home from the SPCA with us. Livy came from the Border Collie Rescue of Texas and she had fought a long hard battle back from the brink. We lost them both to cancer within 6 months of each other when I was pregnant. We definitely want more dogs, but the astronimical expenses associated with the last months of their lives made us gunshy. Maybe later in life we can have dogs again.

This is Trixy! She's approximately 4 and I adopted her from the pound April of last year. She's a mix, not really sure what (boxer with something else, maybe hound/lab/pit). She's adjusted nicely and is a wonderful dog. If she were smaller, she'd definitely be a lap dog! She's a 50# lovebug!

And this is Henna! She just turned 14! She's also a mutt, chow and something mix, that we got from our neighbors back when my mom moved into her house in 97. She stays with my mom back in NC, but I still get to see her when we visit!

My betta babies... I know, not furry, but I couldn't leave them out!
Feisty... I got him from walmart. He's a rescue betta and this is when I first got him. He's gotten a lot bigger since and isn't in a bowl anymore! (I should really get some updated pics!)

And Sherbert. I got him from thailand on aquabid (great place to get fish/plants if you're into tanks!). He's considered a halfmoon betta. Absolutely LOVE his coloring!!!!

Thanks, Ritzbitz! They're some of the most colorful freshwater fish. Plus, I swear they have little personalities like a puppy! I've actually had one that I trained to jump out of the water to take food from my fingers! I haven't taken the time with these two, but they are just so much more interactive than most fish...

I've seen them called that or siamese fighting fish, too. And you definitely have to keep them separated... They can be in the same tank, but you have to put up a secure divider so they'll each have their own side. But yep, they are some of the best type of fish I've ever owned!! It just sucks that they have to be kept separate or else I'd have about 20 of them!!
