Are there ways to lengthen the luteal phase? Is 12 days long enough or should I be worried? My cycles are always different, but the last 2 cycles one luteal phase was 12 days and one was 13 days.

Also fertility friend showed that I may have Oed on Sunday... but that was before I put in the negative OPKs I have gotten (I just forgot to update that section the last few days).... So, Is it possible to O and get a negative OPK? I don't think I really did O Sunday because I am just now getting dark OPKs but for future reference I would love feedback on this if anyone has any

I think 12 days is technically a long enough LP but it can't hurt to try to lengthen it. I don't remember exactly what helps with that though so somebody else will hafta help there.

As far as the O goes chances are FF just saw a temp jump but the fact that you got a - opk was enough to make it realize it wasn't right. FF tries to take as much info as you can give it to try to give you the most accurate answer. If your OPK's are getting dark now you're probably gearing up to O now. Technically though you can O without getting a + opk if you have a short LH surge.

12 is an excellent LP!

I take B6 to lengthen mine - with out it, it is only 10 - and that is still ok, but borderline. with B6 every day I got it to 13 days.

Yeah 12 days is great. The ideal range is 12-16 days with 14 days being the average. Vitamin B6 can be used to lengthen your LP length, but they're now saying that B12 may help the B6 and generally recommend a B Complex vitamin instead of just one specific B vitamin.

You would take it every day. Starting it now won't affect this cycle.

If I were you, I'd take a B6 or B-Complex vitamin. But actually, 12-13 days for a LP is great! Actually, anyone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think even 11 days isn't horrible, but is teetering on being a LP defect.

And I agree with what some of the other have said about FF. I think the computer database tries the best it can with what info you enter in. With continued temps, it should get more accurate with your opk info.
