Hi guys, I have been on Provera for a few months now and it hasn't failed me yet. I usually get my period within 2 days of the last pill- sometimes even before I finish the 10 days. Well my last Provera pill was on Friday, Oct 28- tomorrow will be a week without any signs of my period. I have had a sharp pain in my gut, but nothing like my usual cramps which last days, this pain goes away within 5-7 mins.
I am really hoping this could mean I'm pregnant, but I know not to get my hopes up too much. The timing is just a coincidence. Since I have PCOS it's very hard to tell when I'm ovulating or IF I'm ovulating ever. But IF I did this month it would have been 3 weeks ago, is it too early to take a pregnancy test?
I'm going to call the dr if I don't start by Monday, which will be 10 days. But has anyone had this happen- no period after taking Provera for 10 days? I am frustrated because this is the month I was supposed to start Clomid on day 3 of my cycle, but without my period I can't do that!

Hi Kris! I don't know if I've seen you here or met you yet, but I'm Natasha, one of the co-hosts here. Nice to meet you!

I would contact your Dr's office if you don't start by tomorrow.
Have you tested to make sure that you are not pg?
I'm like you, in the past whenever I have taken provera, I usually start by about the 3rd day after the last pill. I'm also like that with taking the bcp, I usually start the third day after I take the last "active" pill.

(By this, you can probably tell, that I have UBBER problems with not starting on my own. So it's either by provera/prometrium or by doing a cycle or two of the bcp. I totally feel your pain hun!)

Well, I got a little ahead of myself & took a pregnancy test at noon yesterday- it immediately came up positive.
Took another test last night & this morning- both positive. Needless to say I am freaking out! Called my dr & she wanted to do a blood test right away, so now I am just waiting for those results.
I mean I can't have 3 false positives right?! I am really crossing my fingers, hoping its not a fluke!
