Ok girlies, just a little update on things. I went to the RE today and tonight I will start the Bravelle injections. I go in Monday afternoon for my first follow-up scan and bloodwork. I'm really excited and nervous about this cycle! We will do Bravelle until about two days prior to trigger, then we will do two days of Menopur leading up to trigger. Then we will hopefully schedule our IUI and just pray this works!!

Now to my question, for you ladies who have experience with the CBEFM:
This cycle is going to be closely monitored by my RE with pretty frequent scans and bloodwork. Also, we are doing a trigger shot to pretty much "make" my body O, then an IUI.

SO, my question is, should I use the fertility monitor this cycle? OPKs? Is there any use? Or would it be a waste of money and sticks?? Is it better to be "in the know" about how the opks are looking and what the fert. monitor says? Or would that be crazy considering I'm paying my RE good money (out of pocket no less ) to monitor my ovaries/follicles/endometrium and bw/hormone levels then doing an hCG trigger to make my body O?? Oh yeah, and temping! Should I be temping this cycle so I can have a chart to obsess over???

Is it crazy, that I'm asking all these questions??

i think anything extra is only a plus and will work in your favor. I would totally use opks, CBEFM and i would temp! i mean, you already have all the necessary tools, just utilize them. plus it will give you an extra piece of mind knowing your body is doing what it's supposed to do... KEEP US POSTED!! i am so excited for you tots!!!

I tend to agree with Ritz on this one, and say if ya got it, use it for piece of mind. But on the other hand...if you can have a cycle that you don't necessarily have to be totally obsessive towards with temping, testing and such, then maybe you should take advantage of it so you can try to relax your mind before that BFP. I know sometimes during my tww or before o i tend to get a little anxiety thinking it won't happen or whatnot, so I think it'd be nice to have a break lol. But not crazy if you want to do it (and truth be told, I probably would do it too).

I'd do it all, but then I'd go crazy if I didn't.
