Sorry I'm posting so much lately. Just really have a lot of questions I guess lol

So Wednesday afternoon my OPK was pretty dark, but I know what a positive looks like so I wouldn't have called it one. Then Thursday about 9am(I did not use FMU) my OPK was positive FOR SURE. I was going to follow up with a smiley test after I let my pee "build up" again. Well later that evening the smiley face never showed. Well I tested again this morning (also not FMU) and again negative. And my temps aren't really changing. Often I get 2 days of +OPKs so I'm not really sure what to think. I hope my body didn't gear up to O and then didn't. Or maybe I could actually be Oing today or tomorrow? I have been having the O cramping the past 2 days, just not as bad as "usual". What do you all think?

I don't have much to offer, but my experience this cycle with OPKs was confusing to say the least. I am not sure I ever got a true +, but I had 4 almost +'s including temp shift and EWCM. it was maddening. the next day my temp would drop cm would dry up and I'd be starting over. I have again sworn off OPKs.

That can happen sometimes. I have anywhere from 1-4 days of positive OPKs with O occuring possibly DURING the positives and not after the last positive like you see in a hormonally sound woman. It's just one of those things.

I am fed up with OPKs too and it is just my 1st month using them. My OPKs got dark (the pic i posted) but they were all negative. Today, they are really light. We haven't done the BD since Monday. UGH. Sorry you are going through this too. Hopefully you did O and a little miracle is forming now

You don't have to use fmu for opks. And most of the time they say to test mid day. Go to peeonastick.com and it talks about it.

Very true. I've never seen an OPK you were supposed to use with FMU. It's too concentrated and can give false results.

I said I didn't use my FMU... I just verified that because the times I wrote were early, and I thought I'd mention it wasn't my FMU just to prevent it coming up. But it still did lol

We tend to be overly cautious here.

Lol! Yeah I just wanted to make sure you didn't think you had to use fmu. I had that question when I first started using them.
