Hi darlings <3

I had my 38 week appointment on thursday and Dr said i might be showing signs of pre-eclampsia. that being said, i am going in tomorrow morning (saturday) for additional tests. If results come back shaky, we will be heading to the hospital tomorrow evening to induce. I will try my hardest to keep you ladies posted, but if not, i might just be MIA for a day or two... just in case, i hope everyone has a great weekend.

UPDATE (saturday)

So as of now, dr thinks i dont have Pre-E and told me he'll see me thursday at my 39 week appt. They are running my bloodwork urine again just in case and will know results either later today or monday even. But no baby today.. im a little bummed as i was preparing but we are starting our natural induction methods today so hopefully something will come of it... thats all for now ladies <3

I have no idea what pre-eclampsia is, but I will say that I really hope that mommy and baby remain healthy and safe. I will be thinking about you and hope to hear good news soon!

Well the latest update is that bp was fine this am and things looked ok, so as of right now, no induction yet.....

AND she's going to try to run stairs or do something to make Liv want to make her arrival... SOON!

Hope you go soon! that happened to me with Nate, I was 5 days from my dd and my BP which was already high was creeping even higher and I was spilling protein, I was sent to my u/s then straight to the hospital. we stopped at home to get my things and I *knew* the inevitable was happening. I cried the whole way to the hospital.

we got there the midwife had already called the doc and were pretty much ready to do the c/s then and their. But thank God my bp was fine & my urine was fine. I went home and the next morning I was in full blown labor!

Rita, I hope you don't have to deal with pre-e! It is the pits and I had to have a c/s because of it. Hope baby is here soon without any drama, easy labor vibes for you!

Rita - Just popping in to say that if you want to avoid pre-e, keep up on your proteins. I'm not sure how late is too late to do something about it, but it can't hurt. Aim for like 100 gms a day.

Also - if you are looking for some natural induction methods, search for labor accupressure points. There are points especially on your feet and that's what worked for me. GOOD LUCK!!!
