We usually host Thanksgiving that way we don't have to do the running around. His family can come to us along with my family. This year will be different. My DH and father will be going to the Lions game that morning. So my mother and I will be preparing dinner at her house. Then after we spend time there we will head to my DH Aunt&Uncles to spend some time with his family I love Thanksgiving!!

this year we aren't doing anything - our finances are in the toilet - thanks to gas costing us a fortune. blah.

we normally host t-day for my best friend and her family. but we just can't afford it this year, so it will just be the 4 of us, I'm gonna make the turkey I bought last year and froze, and a few cheap sides, and that is it. oh and choc chip cookies - it will be nice, but I wish we were doing more.

We have hosted for the past three years. This will be our first Thanksgiving in FIL's house without FIL so I'm a bit nervous about that but I'm hoping all the family time I won't notice as much...

Normally we host and my FIL came and so did my parents and grandparents. MIL always insisted on having her own because she didn't want to be around FIL but since he's gone I'm hoping she'll come this year but I kinda doubt it. DH always said that when we had kids we were just doing it at our house and everybody could come to us but last year we had Zach and didn't do anything and I doubt he'll put his foot down this year.

It just makes me mad. She can come over here and spend time instead of us going to her tiny apartment. I'm never hungry for her cooking because we eat at 2. And she almost ALWAYS makes a dessert I don't like(even not on the holidays). I swear she almost always picks something with cherries or coconut(or both when she does a cherry coconut cake!!!!) and she has known since day 1 I don't like those things!

Sorry MIL rant over LOL

i have no idea what thanksgiving will have in store for us this year. Baby is due close to the date, so if she isnt here by then, we'll probably be spending it at my husbands grandma's house as always with all of the family. If our baby does come soon (which i hope she plans too!) then depending on what our pediatrician would say, we'd either bring her along or end up staying at home until she'd be allowed out. so everything depends on this little munchkin. I love thanksgiving though, so i hope one way or another we can spend time with family...

Price, Dad, and I are going to my Aunt's for Thanksgiving dinner.

I was going to have dinner here, I had already told Dad I would do that here. But my Aunt really wanted our family to get together so that's what we are planning to do.

This will be our first Thanksgiving without Mom, I'm sure it won't be easy, but maybe being with all the family will make a big difference. (I'm sure it will!)
