I was wondering, can you still ovulate late in a cycle? I'm currently at CD41. Is there still a chance to ovulate or does this automatically mean this cycle will be anovulatory? I've been temping and taking OPKs, but maybe I should just drop the OPKs if it means there is no chance. I've been having pretty good cycles the past 3 or 4 months and now this one decides to be LONG.

It also seems the last 2 days I've had a wet vaginal sensation. But I'm not really sure what type of CM it is. I really hate the whole CM thing. I barely ever get any and when I do I never know what type to classify it as. I've read about each, and I've even seen pictures, which by the way were gross but helpful, but I still can't seem to pinpoint what mine is when I have it.

yes you can O late - my second kiddo was late O'er - I think I o'ed on cd 50 with him. could have been even later - I didn't get a BFP with him till nearly cd 70.

I base all my cm checking off of ewcm. if it is clear and really stretchy, with some white in it, I mark it EWCM,

if it is clear, sorta stretchy then I go with watery

if it looks more like snot, not stretchy I go with creamy

I don't usually denote sticky or dry.

I think my body prepared to O but didn't because I got 1 +OPK (I "usually" get 2 days worth) but my temps weren't right.
I really thought soy was going to be a good thing for me since I Oed sooner the first cycle I took it. But this cycle on Soy I'm waiting and waiting and waiting.

I'm sorry you're stuck in the confusing cycle. You can still O and get preg late in a cycle though. A lot of people say the egg quality isn't great but I've seen more than a few PCOSers have late cycles and get PG...

I've never been able to use OPK's as long into a cycle as you are so props for keeping going, I usually just get frustrated. I hope something goes on in your body so you can get this show on the road.

I'm just using the OPKs to finish them up. After this cycle I'm not going to be using them anymore. Or should I say, I'm going to try not to use them any more lol. I have a HUGE POAS addiction so we shall see how it goes. hahaha

I also tried to o at least 3 times this cycle - I think my body needs a break from the soy - it worked so well for me the first 2 cycles - this one was a mess.

I totally understand your frustration!

My daughter was a result of a very, very late O. I could tell I was Oing based on CM. It really does develop an egg-white consistency. Sorry if this is TMI, but it's kind of like when you have a cold, except it's clear. Hope that helps. GL!

Oh, and yes I have very irregular cycles. I only O'd like 1 or 2 other times that year that my daughter was conceived!

I'm sorry you are going through this. Super frustrating. I hope you get your O soon. And it sounds like there is def still a chance even if you O late. Come on little eggie, come out, you can do it!
